The Game

---BEGIN OF PART 2---

a few weeks later, some pirates came to Goldenbee, they raided the entire town and burned it down, unfortunately, Khralum, Keyamon and Fotsieman weren't there to prevent it from happening, as they arrived to the town from a long journey, they discovered it.

"What happened here?"

Krinn was kneeling down by the remains of a stone thatched house. He gazed up at the three men, wary of their appearence.

"Pirates ... i was just staying in Goldenbee for the night while on my travels. They came in their hundreds, such a strange sight. So much suffering, so, so many dead ... My name is Krinn, you all look weary, come, rest with me for a while, i may have something for you."

Keyamon walked up to Krinn, "...pirates... when did they attack, was it weeks ago or just a few days ago?

Krinn spoke in a gruff but hushed voice and looked deep into the ninja's eyes...

"There had been rumours of pirate activity on the coast for some days. Fishermen were not returning home and boats were missing, but locals were too scared to investigate ... and they attacked last night. These pirates were not normal men, they had a cold gaze like death itself and showed no remorse, killing women and children ... i tried to fight but they resisted my magic. I'm ashamed that i could do no more to help ...
Who are you anyway?"

"I'm Keyamon, squad leader of the Special Forces, but they attacked last night, that means they should still be here somewhere..." Keyamon helped Krinn up, "We have to look for them, they cannot go away with this unpunished, are you with us or not?"

"I travel alone ... but you seem trustworthy enough, it's good to see a friendly face these days Keyamon. It would be a pleasure to join you, but I don't hold out much hope for finding the murderers..."

((maybe we should wait until Baccy and Fotsieman are around to continue?))

((good idea, we'll wait then, whoever gets here first is the next one to reply lol))

I kick some charred wood.

"Hmph. Pirates. You actually expect some to still be here? No, they do their business, and are out faster than a dog chases a cat."

"It's a shame. I .. bought this sword just for this attack. I knew it was coming."

"..Elena's last whispered words... 'The pirates are sure to defeat you all where I have failed...'."

"They may be gone, but this town is pretty big, and some pirates always stay behind, just in case some villagers come back with some valuable resources, i know that, as i've been a pirate myself before i joined the Special Forces, we should find them, they can lead us to their leader, and if they wont talk, ill make them talk, pirates may be tough in high numbers, but when they're alone, they're just cowards."

"They're not even tough in numbers. It's silly, your concept of 'losing a battle'."

I walk over to a rock and throw my gun down.

"I'll go, y'all can sit your pretty asses down while I do it.

"you're not going alone, forget it, after listening to krinn's explanation of them, they are too hard to defeat if you're on your own, if you want to go, we'll all go together"

"Hmph. I can't even be treated like a normal soldier. Pirates are so weak. They're only virtue is agility."

"Agility might as well screw life when someone else has a gun."

((Khralum, who is the second guy talking?))

"Here, take a look at this, it may help us learn more about the pirates."
I remove a signet necklace from my robe -
"... one of the pirates left it on the chest of a young boy from the village, here, look at the writing on it, does it mean anything to you?"

"Hm, ive seen it before, thats a neclace of a pirate alright, they have to collect 15 to become invincible, i have one that looks exactly like that one, strange that they would leave it here..."

((It was me talking the whole time, Krinn.))

"Well, now you have two. Good job, only 13 more."

"Very funny, but this is unlike anything that i've ever experienced before in my entire life, pirates even killed other pirates, murdered their own parents and normal people even tortured their own children just to get their hands on one of these... we better be careful now... something big is happening..."

"Will it work if you're not a pirate anymore?"

I look at Keyamon and punch him in the shoulder.

"No need to worry about all that. I mean, come on, you have me." I laugh

At the exact moment when khralum punched me in the shoulder, an area explodes at the end of the same street we are standing in.
"Wow, some punch i gave ya..."
"I knew it!" I run towards the explosion, "Come on, we might be able to take revenge on this town."

I unsheath my sword and grab onto a house gutter and climb it to the top of the house. I jump from house to house looking for pirates.

((fotsieman is up next, as its been quite some time since he contributed to the game))

((sorry i couldn't send a post, was sick))

I run towards the explosion, holding my rifle at the ready

"Its time to kick ass, and chew bubblegum! damn, i'm all out of gum!"

((thats okay))

I draw some of my new shuriken and throw them to a cloud of dust, sounds like i hit a couple of guys, I run towards the cloud of dust with my katana ready to attack, A pirate runs straight towards me with a broadsword, i shove my sword through his stomach, the pirate falls down, bleeding, however, the wound is not critical "Guard this pirate!" i shout at fotsie, "We need them for interrogation!" I draw some kunai and throw them in the cloud.

"you got it keyamon!"

i move the prisoner to a safer location, just in case the other pirate's try to eliminate him

"Do you guys ever at all use tactics? Ever?"

I tie a frag grenade to some kunai and throw it at a pirate who is in a crowd of pirates.

PierceBOOOOOOOOM!

I randomly start slashing pirates, until a big pirate arrives (something like the juggernaut from the x-men lol)
